Responding to the growing demands of the local market, Edison Electric built a fabrication and assembly plant in the 80’s, investing in various machinery and equipment, located in Baesa, Quezon City. Through the years, Edison Electric’s reputation grew, making it one of the largest and dependable switchboard manufacturers nationwide. Every product delivered and manufactured by Edison Electric goes through a process of meticulous design, precise machining and are expertly assembled and finished. With the success of its first distributorship venture with Mitsubishi Electric Corp., Edison Electric expanded to other product lines and services, and ventured into the distribution of world-renowned brands like: LINCOLN ELECTRIC, SUMITOMO, CIRCUTOR, SULZER METCO, carrying welding machines, cutting equipment, welding consumables and electric motors; geared motors and speed reducers; power capacitor, electronic metering devices and portable network analyzer. With the success of these, a joint venture factory was built in Novaliches, Quezon City, equipped to manufacture quality welding electrode types for both the local and export markets. Edison Electric keeps abreast of the latest technology through constant improvement and updating of its machinery and continued training of its sales force and engineers.
